Connection : Steel compression gland BSP thread.

MERCURY SWITCH TYPE CONTACTTHERMOMETER

Mercury Switches can be provided with any of our Mercury-in-steel Thermometers built in machined cast aluminium weather-proof case 200 mm dial. They are intended mainly for protection purposes and do not deteriorate when not operated for long periods. One or two switches can be fitted and they are independently adjustable over about one third of the scale range between 10% and 90% of scale after removal of the front window. They can be made to set on rise / fall at the set temperature. There is a fixed differential of about 5% of the scale range. Two switches are electrically separate and can be used on two different electrical supplies, e.g. AC Alarm and DC Trip.Connection can be taken to flexible cable or to a junction box either fixed directly to the case or attached to it by flexible conduit. Maximum voltage is 250 AC or DC. Maximum current is 2A AC. DC rating is 50 VA.
