These instruments are manufactured adding to pressure gauge or thermometer a potentiometric transducer.
Object of this device is to transmit variable value to distances far away also thousands of meters, with low cost and no danger for continuity, since circuit between transmitter and receiver is electrical.
Transmitting device is manufactured in weather proof execution and carries on dial slide wire type potentiometer, whose slide is linked to pointer mechanism.
Circuits is a 3 wire type and is connected to a millimeter with crossed coils, whose pointer will move proportionally to voltage picked up by transmitter potentiometer slide.
Remote receiver is furnished on request.

Casing : Cast Iron, stove enameled black.

This instrument is used when the process fluid being measured would clog bourdon tube gauges or when materials capable of withstanding highly corrosive fluids are not available as bourdon tube materials.

In a weatherproof construction is suitable for outdoor and indoor installation.


General Specification

Amplifying device Amplifying device is reinforced type in stainless steel as per specification MP2R. Accuracy within 2% of scale range.The upper housing of the gauge is a single block unit in black stove enameled cast iron.
Retaining ring is screwed and is in Nylon on DS 100 mm, bolted with stainless steel screws. In cast iron on DS 160 mm. On request housing and ring can be supplied in stainless steel:
(i) Transparent cover in double glass.
(ii) Steel pointer
(iii) Phenol resin dial
